alright i bought a kicker kx400.1 today from a pawnshop
dude said he would give me 30 day warranty if i had it installed so i said i would...
but i know how to install an amp and my wires are already in the trunk cause i friend my old amp....
anyways i hooked it up
it thumps but keeps going into protection mode when it starts to hit hard... like its mabee pushing 70 watts rms if that i cant get it to hit hard cause it always goes into protection mode...
I double checked all my wires even took the sub outa the box to make sure it was wired to 2 ohms...
so wtf is the amp fried?
im runnin 8 gauge power and ground wire also so i should be ok...
