Which amp is more efficient?

I want to pick which amp will be easier on my electrical system at 1 ohm..... puttin out atleast 2000 watts

Yup... Kicker > Orion

ya, the kicker's not only more efficient than the orion (which isn't difficult) but it's one of the most efficient amps in that power range from the searching and research i did when i was amp shopping a while back.

the kicker 2500 IMO is one of the best 2000-3000 watt amps on the market, as far as power/efficiency

both are gonna kick out more then 2000 @1ohm but i think it depends on you budget... if money isnt a issue then get the kicker..but if you dont have the funds then get a orion..they are going pretty cheap now

ZX and the KX are the same boards in the 2500

another battery, a higher amp alt to keep the orion goin right.............im guessing it pulls a lot more current than the kicker.

cause now i have the orion at 1 ohm....gains a little over half way, and i get some dimming....

but ive herd the kicker doesnt like it too much at 1 ohm?

both are gonna need a HO alternator.....

and extra batteries are never NECESSARY....

they're both gonna pull close to 200A daily.

i have the orion at 1 ohm now....pushing 2000 watts .....no problems so far on stock alt
