Kicker KX1200.1 Problem...

The amp is powering on, but then RIGHT before the idle time is expired, it jumps to protection. BUT! It goes back into ready mode, then protect again. It's just a constant, continuous, not even a second in between thing.

PS - Be aware that NOTHING is attached to the amp except the Power, Ground and Remote.

* I don't know if it's blown partially, or something inside the amp shifted. I know a friend at Music Mart Inc., told me I'd be better off just buyin' a new KX1200.1 ( On ebay of course - Don't like the ZX version.. I'm a 0.5 - 1.3367 ohm Guy ).

Can anyone on here help, or know what to do in this situation? I know someone has experience this problem somewhere along the line.

check all wiring for shorts

check ground also

I currently have a Diesel Audio NSH-1.3000D and it's running off the same wiring. And it's working Tremendously well. Is there anymore options...?
