Alpine m850 800 Rms x 1 vs Hifonics BXi 1206D 900 Rms x 1

or any other opinions?

i personally like hifonics...tho i run both hifonics and alpine products...but i dont think u can go wrong with either

not really....they are both rated at 14.4 volts....that where the confusion surrounding hifonics normally comes from

my amp budget is under $300 and i am probably gonna run at 2 ohm...i just want my subs to be louder than my friends 2 kenwoods which are 400 rms each with a 1000w amp

Ahh i c, another thing, alpines dont run under 2 ohms do they? I dont think ive ever seen a mono that will...

yea im prolly gonna go to a local store to get it installed nd get a vented enclosure from cartoys...but does it really matter if i get a 4 ohm or a 2 ohm?

2 subs against one, it isnt going to be easy to b louder. Hes got surface area on his side. The port should help though.

my m650 powers one type r at 2 ohms effortlessly.
