kicker kx1200.1 FUSE holder Question

okay guys i have a really simple question, i have a kicker kx1200.1 and i need a fuse holder and i need to place this fuse holder about 12in from the amp...is this correct? and if so how man amps sould be in the fuse holder? like 120amp? then i have another question if i have a 60amp fuse by the batter and a 120amp fuse by the amp is this how it is supost to be?? anyways let me know and thanks for any all help in advance?

basicaly this is a how to hook up a kicker kx1200.1 amp 101 for nubies! lol.

^ that's what I did. The only thing is that I have 2 120-amp breakers up front because I am using 2 runs of 4-awg wire to the rear d-block prior to my amps. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

 
all the fuse/circuit breaker does is protect the wire from accidental ground and overcurrent. if you put the fuse next to the amp it wont protect your electrical system if your wire gets cut and grounds out.
