Kicker Impulse Amp not working

I have a Kicker Impulse IX402. 130 watts if I remember right. I hooked it up to 2 different systems and the Red LED on top comes on and the green power LED comes on. The amp doesnt power the sub but the sub does get powered by the CD deck. I was wondering if anyone knew whats up with my amp. remove the load[speaker wires] from the amp and restart it.. did it go into protect again? check power -ground- remote and fuses on the amp. Are they ok? if so the amp is damged
