Kicker DS series componets, any good?

well i have been lookin at the kicker DS series componets, im on a budget and i was looking at the sony xplod componets, but the kickers arent much more, so would i be better to spend alittle extra to get the kickers over the sonys? do they sound good, i know they are the low line of kicker but im thinkin they would be better then the sonys, thanks

Those entry level Kickers are not that good IMO, they seemed to lack sound quality when i heard them. The Cdt Audio CL-S60's would be the better choices in the same price range.
