Kicker CVX10 or CVR12?

I have a Kicker 450.2 amp and was going to build a 1.75 cubic foot slotted enclosure as per Kicker specs.

Which sub would sound best with this setup? the CVX10 or CVR12?

cvx needs alot more power then you can give it.

yeah...i don't do the loud stereos like I used to but i've had the screen name for 12 years so I still use it

you don't think the 450.2 would be good for the CVX10 in the vented enclosure?

i think 500w or so would be decent for a cvx 10... but you may get more out of the cvr yet lose some sq... up the sq ft for the cvx 10 to get it a bit more efficient, use an aeroport to boot and i dont see how you could be all that unhappy.

what do you think the enclosure should be?

I was just going off of the CVX10 manual stating 1.75 with a 2.5x10x20 vent.

I'm not too sure what an aeroport is, any info?

thats roughly two 4" aeroports but they dont come 20" long.

i dont know, i am only talking half a cubic foot or so.

someone has cvr's here for $50 each, grab one of those, if you dont like it well you could probably resell it locally with the box for $100 or so lol

i have a C12 right now but it's in a pre-fab box and sounds pretty weak. i just got it a couple of weeks ago to have something setup for a car show I was entering and now I want to do something a little more permanent.

what if I throw a L510 into the mix? still say the CVR12 will be the best sounding setup? I don't want anything loud but i do want it to be able to produce the lower frequencies

the C12 I have now may be fine once i get it into a bigger box

Only thing good is that sushi bar near walmart and the atv riding terrain

And btw, I've ran kicker subs and they are not bad at all for the money.
