so my subs are bottoming out.. do i need a bigger amp to fix this or a better box? im only feeding them about 250 watts each then call for 600 each.. dual 2 ohm 10s. also if anyone knows how to help me adjust my alpine deck settings i have a thread for it also..

I doubt you are bottoming out... probably clipping the piss out of your amp. Let me guess, bass boost maxed out?
If the box is not optimum, building a new one would always help. But more power would probably take care of the clipping...

yea cause underpowerings cause bottoming out
I think I established that bottoming out is very unlikely with 250W... if you've ever heard a sub getting a severely clipped signal, then you would understand why it might be confused with the sub bottoming out.
