Kicker CVR's over Comps????

Well right now i have 2 kicker comps in a custom built box in my single cab pickup and they really pound...i dont see how but (believe or not) i've been able to beat a mustang with 2 12" L5's in custom ported enclosure....2 10" L7's in sealed enclosure in a camaro off of a 1500.1 Kicker amp....1 15" type R in a ported box tuned to 42hz...and many many more!!!but in other words my pretty cheap system is pretty loud...(the loudest i've ever heard as a matter of fact!)...although i do have mine at 1ohm...but nothing has blown yet, over the year that i've had my system....

but i was wondering how much louder my system would be if i replaced comps with cvrs and....since i have 2 power acoustik gothic series 1250wt amps (one's a spare)...i figured i put each amp on each sub and bridge them at 2ohms which my amp will be puttin out about 560rms...do you think that will be much louder???

plus...i can prolly get some CVR's for around 60 bucks

if you want to get loud get some digital designs ... mayby the 35 series... or mach 5 has cheap spl subs for like $300 a piece iirc...

i have a mach 5 spl12 and it gets somewhat loud

Thats way too much power to put to the cvrs. A pair of em will handle 1500 watts, but that is pushing it.

call it B.S. if you want to....i didnt think anybody would believe me, but i've witnessed all of these...i could care less what you "think"!!!.....but what if i put about 400 or 500 wrms to each would that still be overpowering??

the thing is...i can already beat all of my friends.....with freakin kicker comps (that's only about 300wrms for both of them......every body just keeps adding on to their systems to get louder than me, so i'm wondering if through cvrs in my truck if it would make it a little more challenging for them.

lol that is BS.....basically unless the other people had their setups TERRIBLY put together, and yours just happned to be PERFECTLY setup, then thats STILL is BS LOL

thing is with my truck being a single cab...the box is thin...but tall, and covers my whole back wall...so i'm not so sure that the CVX's mounting depth would fit in my box....i may have to do some readjusting with CVRs.

i guess there's could've been terribly put together, i mine is just perfectly put together but i've beatin them and i know, they know it, and anybody who witnesses it knows it...it's far from B.s.,, if i can get a camera i'll make a vid!!!

sounds like ears. but hey, if you've ever sat in a truck you'd know that they can get way louder way easier. just the small cabin space i guess.
