Pretty good budget SPL subs. I have a 15 waiting for me at Home when I go back for christmas break, I plan on putting it in a huge fart box for Comps.

I cant wait until i get to head home for christmas break, I build a decent sized box tuned to 45 Hz and run one 15 off of my 1200D and see what kind of numbers a SQ guy can do.

I ordered 4 of them on that deal and after not getting my order processed 2 days later I called and was told they are discontinued //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

I have owned a pair of 12''s however, in small sealed and medium ported boxes. Small sealed they sounded decent, but in the ported boxes they really shined. For 2 12''s and 700 watts off of a Hifonics NX750d, they were great SPL subs. I had the 03 model.

i setup my friends 2 12's in his rsx, he built the box his self ( i think it was like 2.5 tuned to like 32-35 or sumthin like that) ya it hit hard, the spl was great but i wouldnt say it had the best sq in the world

I didn't really plan on using them though, basically the same thing you're planning on doing. Big ported box tuned high for S+Gs

I hope it's 2.5 each, 2.5 for the pair would really be lacking. My pair were in 2 each tuned to 35hz IIRC

no it looked to small for that, i thought it could of sounded better. sounded better then my type r's in a ported prefab box and a 200 watt amp in my room, but there was no comparison when i put them in my montecarlo. i was willing to help him make his box but i was out of town(thanksgiving break). i know my type r's arnt the best, but i also know that is system shoudl sound better then it did but he likes it so i didnt say nuttin to him

Yes they get loud and sound decent, I have 4 10's running off a kx1200.1 and When I burp it everything rattles. Tune to 40hz-30hz. Picture in avatar.

How much can you overpower these? because right now I am running one 12 cvr in a small ported box off a 560x1 rms rated amp and I'm scared to turn the amp up because I already blew an Alpne Type R on it.
