Kicker CVR grill question

i have the Kicker CompVR 12" sub and i was wanting to put the grill they have out on it.. my question is when i play the sub hard will the sub hit the grill at all??

why would they make a grill for teh woofer. if the woofer would hit it?

yea thats true but just makin sure bc the gap between the sub and grill didnt seem that big..
