After reading how much a custom box can make in terms of SQ and SPL I have decided to ditch my prefab and build my own.
However, I do have some questions.
First of all, here is my sub/amp
Sub- 12" Kicker C12VR (single)
Amp- Profile AP1000M (550 watts @ 2 ohms)
I want to go ported. I checked out a few of Moe Lester's (caraudio.com/forum) plans and found this one

Will this box give me a big difference in terms of SQ and SPL compared to my prefab?
Is 2 Cubes @ 32 Hz a good fit for my sub?
