Kicker CompVR15 Seal?

I am thinking about building a smaller sealed box for my CompVR15. The enclosure I have now is a **** beast. With the box I have now, you can literally feel the bass from a block away. Now that I got the loudness fascination out of me, I am looking for some SQ and something I can listen to with out making me deaf. Now what size sealed enclosure would you guys recommend or does the CVR15 sound better ported? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks
