Kicker CompVR 12" question

hey i just got two Kicker CompVR 12"s and i am woundering what is the max RMS they can take i see that it says 400RMS but i herd that they under say what they can handle.. i am wanting to put them on two Alpine MRP-M650 at two ohms which is 600RMS on the amp. just woundering if i will be pushing them to hard or will i be fine? and do these subs really hit hard like everyone says? and my other question is that i know that i am going to need a Capacitor.. i am looking at the Rockford Fosgate 1 Farad - 20 volt Surge cap.. will i need one or two. or will i just have to see how my car does? thanx for the help

If the rms is 400, and you have two subs, that takes you to a total of 800 watts of power handling rms. Why would 200 watts(or 100 each) less than they're rated for hurt them? And, you need about four of those caps.

im not putting them both on one amp i am putting them to one amp each....

You need a new HO alt. and to do the Big 3 upgrade.

Your lights and shit are gonna dim unless your car can put out some amperage.

He doesn't need a new alt for the little power, big 3 n a decent battery up front will do him fine.

Well, it is 1200+ watts. I don't care though. He probably won't do the Big 3 anyway.
