I don't have the gain turned all the way up, cuz I didn't want to blow the speakers. But before I had my rear speakers and these component speakers ALL powered by just my headunit.. and they sounded just fine. But I wanted them to be louder, so I bought this amp. Well..I definetly did not get what I wanted. They put out very little, to no sound at all. It's pathetic.. and I have no idea why it's doing it. All the wiring is correct and everything. Anyone have any ideas?
then goto your amplifier and start turnin up those gains until its as loud as you want without distorting, then turn it down a tiny little notch just to give you some head-way
and thats all there is to it (note this is the ghetto way so use at ur own risk)
Me and my friend did this when I first got them. They sounded good.. they weren't ridiculously loud, but they were fine. I haven't touched my gains at all since then. The other day I put all the sound going to the front.. and it was pathetic.. they are putting out close to nothing. It's really pissing me off.
