Kicker components, worth a look?

I've gone out of my way at times to hear some of the things that people are talking about on the message boards (Brahma's, IDMax's, W7's...still looking for a Blueprint and XXX) and never got a chance to hear what I wanted to from the beginning. I love Kicker, but can they really make a decent component set? Anyone own or heard any level of these? And what did you personally like and dislike about them? Any word on these would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

ask the kicker team last yr netted a few world finals...all were mostly kicker speakers except mark eldridge used some old school altec lansing hlcd's the rest used straight kicker. dont let the price fool you they just have the marketing and facilities to produce a pretty good speaker...meaning if you know what you be doing they are capable some a easier to get right but they can also be wrong... http://www.carsound.com ask mark yourself

I'm kind of a Kicker guy myself, and would love to run them in one of my cars. Don't really care if they compete with other speakers in their price range or anything, so its good to hear that they do. I think I'm going to go pick up a set in the coming months.
