kicker components, need input.

My buddy is wanting to add some comps to the doors of his chrysler 300, he's wanting an all kicker system but I have no experience with their comp sets, if any of you have heard them or have them any insight is greatly appreciated!!

The SS65.2s are pretty good IMO. I have them in my Altima and they sound pretty decent

where did you get them and how much power you got going to them?

the ones i've heard are pretty harsh. I am not sure how much time went into install and tuning though.

I picked them up on this forum back in February and have about 100-120w going to each side

i had kicker rs 6.5 components and i was not happy with them they sounded a little harsh and they did not get loud and i replace them with hifonics components and they sounded way better

From what I've heard, the rs series doesnt compare to the ss series IMO

i run the ss comps in my car and to be honest...they lack midbass but the highs are nice and clear. but then again i like loud music so to some they may seem harsh. but to be honest if i could do it all over again i would have went with soem alpine type R comps.

OH i drive a 2002 accord and run 65--75watts to them.
