im gettin a Fi SSD 12inch sub, and a alpine hu. i need a amp. i got recommended a kicker 08zx750.1, but its a little expensive for my budget. i was hopin to only spend around 5-700 total for sub (dual 2, BP power), wiring, and hu (alpine cda-9884). anyone else think something else would be better? also, which 4 guage wiring kit should i get form knukonceptz?

get the kicker 06 model theres no difference in power. the price difference is substantial because the 08 and 06. one is newer and ones older. when kicker puts out a new version of a certain line the older line price drops dramatically

only thing u cant find on those sites is the fi ssd. and if u see something that looks low on price than everywhere else. remember these sites are probably not authorized dealers, however they do send u brand new stuff but if it defects the manufacturer wont cover it under warranty so ure gonna have to take a risk

check http://www.kicker.com and tyhey have a place whe it shows there authorized internet retailers. alot of sites wont say if there authorized or not so u may have to contact the manufacturer of the product u want and ask if that certain site or dealer is authorized.

for kicker follow these steps

sonic is a authorized kicker dealer so u will be fine for buying ure amp there it will be covered under warranty. they can only charge what kicker tells them. and buy the 06 kicker zx 750.1 for the ssd it is much cheaper then the 08 version and there is no difference in power. i have used both

No. Get a dual 1 sub.

yes it will be a very good match. get the 1ohm sub and wire it in series so u can get a 2 ohm load . the ssd will take 800 rms and the 750.1 will do about 650-700ish at 2ohms(given the drop cus the amps dont perform at 100% efficiency)

ok, just wanted to make sure i didnt do something stupid. thats why im asking all these questions. so, dual 2= 4ohms and dual 1= 2ohms? and on the amp, you get a 2 ohm amp that puts out the right watts for the RMS of the sub??

just make sure when u get the 1ohm sub be very precise on the series wiring to the amp. that 750.1 will preform at its best for 2 ohm load. 1ohm sub wired in series to amp - 2 ohms
