what should the rating on the fuse be also there is already a fuse in the amp do i still need a fuse in the + wire

Your link doesnt work, and yes you should still use an external fuse about 6-10 inches from where your + goes to the battery.

You want to fuse to the maximum amperage of your wire, ideally.
