when i plug in my amplifier to the car battery the power light flashes and the light goes out and i was wondering what am i doing wrong

well i have it wired directly to the battery (btw i am a extreame beginer at this stuff)

should have a power wire thats fused from batt to amp and the amp should be grounded in a spot clear of paint wherever your amp is

lol, I am not trying to make fun at all, but i am picturing him hlding the amp in one arm and the power in the other hand and just poking the power wire onto the positive terminal on the battery //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif .

so

+12v (here i put in a fused wire from battery)

gnd (here i connect to a paintless pannel on car)

were do i put the negative of the battery

from right to left the lables are

You need a remote wire from the head unit to the amp, you need to run a ground for tha amp and a fused wire from the batt to the amp.

what should the rating on the fuse be also there is already a fuse in the amp do i still need a fuse in the + wire

From what I gathered from these 2 statements, I think you would be keen as to not touching any more power or ground or REMOTE wires until you figure out how to wire that shit up first. Dont just go poking around with wires and big ol batteries, u could find yourself in a mess.
