I will try to get up a nice review of those speakers once I get everythign installed. I haven't been able to find much about them on the net. You guys don't think that 650.4 will put out too much power to run active, will it? Rated at 120x4 at 4ohms. I figured it'd be better to go bigger and be safe than under-power the mid and the tweet, but now I'm thinking it might be too much.

I heard a set of RS 6.5's and I was impressed by them. To tell you the truth I think the RS comps handle lows better than the SS's, however mid and high range I think the SS comps win overall. (I'm guessing the SS comps weren't made with the lows in mind considering the SS midbass options, of which I already have the SSMB8's ready to be put in.)

I can't tell you about overpowering, everything runs fine in my truck no signs of too much power with each set of components recieving the approx 120w.

Could also be the install in the doors for the SS's. Door sealed off good? But it would make sense that the RS would handle lows a bit better; like you said there is the midbass option of that series.

Let me know if you guys want close ups of anythign while I still have all this stuff laid out.

Speaking of Kicker, their new factory is BADASS. Compared to the original one it's huge. all glass front and what not. I can take some pictures this week when I go to college since they are in my colleges town.
