you can watch that but idk how much cheaper you will get a used one vs the new nak. i would save up the $75 more or look for something cheaper than a kicker. whats your budget?

Under $120 shipped at the moment...may wait until august when I can get something better...and save the $75? The nak is like $300 by the time I get it shipped

it is definately the best bang for your buck. it is proven to do rated, and since you arent going to be using the full 1000 watts at 2 ohm, i bet you it will run nice and cold.

just adjust your gain to 700 watts. do you know how to set your gains with a dmm?

The whole SQRT of (rmsXohms) and get the meter to read that (for me 37.4) ?

exactly. set it to that while using a 50-60hertz test tone and you will be gold.

Is my 4 gauge wiring legit?And, what setting do you set the DMM? Also, this will prevent clipping form the HU, correct?

yea that amp will be your best bet for $120. it would be kind of hard to find another mono amp that does 700@2. you couldnt touch any of your main brand stuff for that.

I have the install bay Ak4 kit....many many reviews said it was true 4g....what setting is do I set the DMM to? And, this would prevent slipping form the HU to the AMP correct?

it is a little undersized. its rated for 600 watts rms roughly. to get the true 700 watts out of the amp, play a 50-60hertz test tone off of a cd or an ipod, and then set the dmm voltage to 37.4 and boom your done. and you should not be clipping.
