Kicker 12" L7 or RF 12" stage 1 sub????

I saw a Rockford Fosgate power stage 1 sub today and the thing looked like it could pound out some serious base...so no im curious should i go with 2 12" kicker L7's or 2 RF power Stage 1's??which one is gonna hit harder/be louder and is there a big difference in SQ between them?

personally i would say the L7 for loudness...but i dont know a lot about the RF....maybe the RF has it in SQ

Never heard a stage 1 Power, the L7's get loud and are more SPL oriented. What are you looking for SPL or SQ or mix of both?

Re the power stage 1 the p1 or what? I have never heard of the power stage 1 and lots of shop sell rockford here. I hope youre not trying to compare a p1 to a L7

L7s. They have a lil SQ no matter what anyone says, I like how mine sound

no... i think hes talking about the rf power T1.. which is the 1st stage of the power series, above the p3.

and if this is the case go with the kicker. i dont like T1s all that much.. good subs, but not loud like the T2 which doesnt cost much more. sq in the box i heard wasnt great at all.. but i cant judge from one setup

Doesn't cost much more? I saw a $300 difference in a 10" T1 and a 10" T2 on Crutchfield...

oh okay I have never heard of the T1 being called the power stage 1. I like my L7s, a freind of mine has T1s in a sealed box they are okay but not really that loud but then again its all install dependent probally louder in a ported enclosure

Well, maybe for the price they're not too great, but I'd say T1's are worth a shot. For sure they won't be as loud as an L7, but I'm guessing they sound a smidge better.
