hey i have a 12" kicker l5 dual 4 ohm running at 2 ohms what would be the best amp to buy for the price i was thinking either the audiobahn a8000t or the power acustic a1000db please help me with suggestions

directed 1100D,

750x1 RMS in 2 ohm, should power it nicely, it powered 1 of my l7's for a while.

you can pick a refurb up for ~125

PS. stay away from audiobahn amps.

from experiance and what others have said, they're very unreliable, and don't put out their rated power, save up and buy a nice amp, you wont regret it.

jl 500/1 or 1000/1 for a lil extra

wow, JL amps are good, good list there

but as far as power to $$ ratio, the Directed would be the way to go IMHO
