kicker 12 l7

The nice thing about having the nice beefy amp is when you decide to get another sub you'll have the power you need. Unless your looking to maximize the amps impedance load.

I already have the 81000d and the solo 12 l7.I just need to know will the sub handle that much power.I dont want to blow the sub.If it is to much power I can trade my cousin for his mtx 6500d mtx model rated at 600rms.what do you experts think i should do.Time is tickin and i really need a helpful responce so i can put my sub to work.

keep the 8100d. after installing the amp and connecting the sub, turn down the gain and eq on the amp ALL THE WAY. then, turn the radio up 3/4 way, then turn the gains and eq until you reach distortion, then turn it down until distrotion stops. you wont blow the sub if you do that

I installed the sub in a sealed box that is 1.75 cf. this enclosure allows the sub to handle 750 watts rms.I allready know ported is louder but reduces the rms down to 400 watts.should i just leave it sealed and buy another sub and port them on the 81000d.

i have a 3rd generation 12 inch L7 3rd generation. i had the same thing in the 2nd generation before and it slammed but i sold that for the new one. I am running a 600 watt amp it made my old L7 bump but the new one doesnt bump as hard but people told me it just need to brake in. Anyways the place i get all my shit done offered me the brand new Alpine V12 600 and i was wondering if that amp would make my new 12" L7 pounddd cause i want it to be mad loud or is there a better amp out there that i should get?get back at me for peeps that kno
