Kicker 10's how much can they handle?

Hi guys, I was just curious as to how many watts rms these Kicker L7's can take. I just built a dual ported box with each chamber 1.75 cubic ft after sub displacement tuned @ 32hz. I have a brutus bxi2008D & the subs are dual 4ohms. Would I be able to run them at 1ohms 1800rms or is that too much, cause at 4ohms I would only be feeding them about 500-600rms a pair. They didn't have anymore D2 models so I could run them at 2ohms & get around 1200rms. Thanks in advance.

i would not recomend pushing 1800 into them @ 1ohm. go with the 2ohm load

So you're saying that 800-900rms to each ten is too much. I know it says 550rms each if you're going ported. I can't run them at 2ohms since they are dual 4ohms right?

Correct. You will prolly be ok with 800rms each. Or you could just set your gains with a dmm.

If you made the box smaller to lower the efficiency , that would probably help also.

You could give em a lil more. Maybe 1400 for starters.
