i have (1) kicker 08 15" L7 2ohm DVC.. what kicker amp should i buy? mono or 2 channel? need your help... thanks

You want a mono amp that does 1000rms+ at 1 ohm. If you're strapped for cash Hifonics has decent amps that will do that power at 1 ohm for around $200.

get a mono amp. you probably arent going to get a whole lot of power from your amp at 4 ohms, so just wire it at 1.

I I did a install with a rockford 1001bd, I think thats the correct name...he picked up at a pawn shop for 120$

could but might get alittle hot or just shut off once u turn the volume up higher, if u dont already have an amp id look fora mono thats 1 ohm stable just to be sure

why does it have to be kicker? why not just get a 1 ohm stable amp?

It's almost to the point at which we tell him one way, but he consistently says no and does it his own way.

Wire it to 1 ohm. Get a 1kW 1 ohm stable amp.

Just get a WARHORSE from KICKER. You want a mono 1OHM.. get that thing. Your amp will FRY within 30 secs.. lmao

My buddy jsut bought a 1500 WATS JBL amp.. its mono. he is jucing 2 JBL's biggest 12" top of line subs jsut fine. BTW you cant breathe in teh GODDAM CAR!
