Kicker 04S15L72 15" L7 Solo-Baric subwoofer & Kicker KX1200.1 KX-Series amp

hey guys i'm buying two Kicker 04S15L72 15" L7 Solo-Baric subwoofers and getting the Kicker KX1200.1 KX-Series amp along with them. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this is a good setup or should I get two Kicker KX1200.1 KX-Series amps, one for each sub. Also can you give any reviews or suggestions you know about the subs and amp. If you can help out I would really appreciate it.

ok im going to get two amps now, so what would be good front and rear speakers or component systems since im going to have alot of bass and its going to be hard to hear the music, they have to be 5X7. i have a 96 ford explorer sport, also what type of battery do i need to push all this

^^u didnt have to get a high output alternator and new battery to handle all that power??...also what does the Cap-Power Acoustics 1.2 do for your system, is that to handle the power? about how much was it? im new to car systems so if you can help ill really appreciate it.

^^bcuz everybodys telling me Im gonna need a new high output alternator, thats about $300. im already paying alot for the subs and amps alone. is there any other way to go? did u have to get a new alternator or is it something else i can get to control the current for alot less cheaper.

if you are going too run two kx1200.1s, you need a new alt... there is no way around it.

^^do the 12" L7 solobarics sound good? also would jus one KX 1200.1 be enough to push them effectivley...bcuz if i get the 15" L7s and two amps I'm finding out i have to get alot of more stuff to make it run effectively, mainly doing alot of upgrading to my electrical system.

Yeah just one KX1200.1 is plenty of power and holy crap man they hit very hard! The cap helps from flickering, only a little, but enough to make a difference. Also Yes the 12's are just as good as the 15's. Yeah the 15's get louder but a lot more sloppier then the 12's. But the 12's still hit extremley hard, no joke. And I only have on KX1200.1 running both of my 12's

thanx man you were really helpful. i'll do the two 12" L7s. did u have to get another battery or high output alternator for your system? also what would be some good front and rear speakers to run with my system. i'm thinking about going with kicker component systems, mids and highs.

if you can still find the Kicker I572, that's the component 5x7 mid/tweet combos we made....good 50x4 amp, and your golden.

2500.1kx i have 2 L7 12 and i am running that it sounds great. MAke sure to get the dual 4 ohms and wire them at 2 ohms. its more than you need but more is better the kx 1200.1 probly will sound fine 2

2 dual 4ohm subs can be wired to 4 or 1 ohm..
