kewood amp... blue light turns on the red light doesn't..need help!!!

i had someone install the KAC- 8105D into my car and i bought it used but the person guaranteed it was working even tho it might not mean anything but anyway when i turn on my car both lights turn on but the red one shuts off right away, i did some research and it says that usually happens when its in protective mode but idk how to get it out of it. according to the guy that installed them all the wires are good and its an internal problem, but i wanna make sure before i buy a new amp...

anyone have this problem? how did u fix it.. ill post some pics up of the wiring

Shits fried, I had the exact amp, did the exact same thing, until some more fooling around the red light would come on, but still no sound.

I scrapped it and bought a better amp.

And what gauge wire is that? 10?

yeah its 8... u sure its fried? can't be fixed?
