kenwood xxv question

I just got this unit and Im really happy with it so far. Setting it up is becoming a challenge. I have it in regular text mode, no graphics, and it keeps switching colors. From blue to orange. I want it to stay blue but cant figure it out. Can anyone with this unit or the 990 help me out? Thanks in advance.

First of all let me say, welcome to the forum. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Is that the 25th anniversary head unit you are talking about?? If so, were in the world did you get that? It is a killer head unit. I would love to get my hands on one. Anyway, I am not familer with the graphics on the Excelon units even though I have a Excelon. I'm sure someone here will be able to help you out. In the meantime enjoy your new unit.

I have a 990. You have to change the display mode in the standby menu from "auto" to "posi". Look at the troubleshooting guide in the back of the instruction manual and it will tell you the page in the manual that shows you how to do it, if you don't know how. Once you get the headunit set up the way you like it you will be very impressed. It is by far the best HU I have ever owned.

Thanks! I finally figured it out. This unit has so many different settings, its hard to get it just right. I guess its just going to take some time to get things perfect. Im happy with the unit so far. Way better sounding than stock.
