Last Weekend I bought a KDC-X493 for my car for the use of the USB, and AUX. When I recently purchased a MSD to put into the USB Slot It only Reads up to 250 Songs. I have over 250 songs upon the Device. I'm just wondering if anybody else has had any problems with their MSD, becuase my brother has the same type of deck but different model and reaches over 250 songs, and we both have the same MSD.

MSD = Mass Storage Device - PNY 8 Gig

you have to make separate folders. each folder will read 250 songs. At least thats how my clarion is.

try a 4gig, idk if the 8gig is compatible. I got over 1000 on a 4 gig.
