kenwood wiring help

Kinda stuck here, my buddy gave me a kenwood to throw in my 4runner and I got everything wired up cept there is one extra green wire, that is ran along side the power, ground, and remote. I have no clue what it could be.

Its a DDX6019 Kenwood.

If anyone knows what the green wire does let me know. As of right now when I turn it on the speakers just make a small popping sound but the deck wont turn on.

i think it needs to be grounded or put to a 12+ i had the same problem on my kvt 911dvd it has something to do with the screen

I just dont want to find out the hard way, what works and doesnt, last thing i need is to fry something

Green = Parking brake sensor wire (needs grounded)

So just ground it and I should be good, I just assumed it would still show a picture without it but the unit doesnt even turn on without it, looks like I will be back in a minute and hope it works

unit should still power up, either its fried, u have a bad ground, or u dont have 12 volts on red and yellow
