Kenwood vs. Alpine vs. Eclipse

Alpine CDA-9885 vs. Eclipse CD7000 vs. Kenwood Excelon KDC-X791

Looking for:

Sound quality

Ease of Use

Options

I was interested in the alpine, but everyone is down on them. Now i'm looking at the Eclipse.

Any suggestions?

I've done the basic research, but would like to get opinions from people who have the HUs

Eclipse CD7000 is far more better than the two other.

much better SQ and feature.

those HU even not in the class of the CD7000.

try to get the newer - CD7100, it have 8V preouts.

Its really hard to compare the top of the line CD7000 from last year with a one step up from the bottom of the line Alpine. The Kenwood is much closer in features. If you do not all the options of the CD7000 and the Kenwood can be had for a little less then I would go with the Kenwood.

In my biased opinion I would pick the Eclipse but that is becuase they are probably my fav next to Clarion.

You might also check out the Clarion DXZ775USB. Its a step above the Kenwood in features. Can be had for around 220 on ebay or 299.99 @ crutchfield.
