Kenwood Security Code

just wondering if certain kenwood decks have security codes?...I have a kenwood kdc-716s and everything lights up I just cant do anything with it....if anyone knows how to unlock them I would greatly appreciate it...

Many Kenwood units do have a security code, but if it's code locked it should read "CODE" on the display.

Kenwood has been incorporating this particular feature into their decks for many years now but if it is enabled then immediately upon seeing power and being turned on the unit should ask for that code in the manner already described by KaeZoo ~ though the manner of inputting said code varies from one specific model to another they will all ask for the code as soon as the unit is turned on if it activated.
