yes Im old and need help, on the back of this new radio it says "rear preput" and is this to plug an amplifier into?, the radio is a Kenwood KDC-PM238 i bought at best buy and they are no help in the audio dept. to tell me what this Pre put means, I have a Kenwood Amp KAC-628 I want to use with this new radio

yes, pre-out is to hook up a amp via RCA cable.

If you buy an amplifier wiring kit...It will have everything needed including the RCA's or phono jacks as you may call......they'll go from the pre out on the deck to the pre in on the amp....

ok because the little plain intructions call this Rear pre put / Sub woofer pre put so I was not understanding this, ok so so there is a pig tail with RCA connectors on it and it says front Pre put would this go to an amp if the amp had 4 RCA plugs? or if I had another amp these front pre put go to an amp also?, so I will have a few silly questions but I know you all will help
