kenwood kdc-w3044 help

I recently bought a new head unit (Kenwood kdc-w3044) becouse my old one was stolen. I have 1000w street sound amp and low end morel components, thay are old (6y) and in ok condition, I also have a dragstar sub wich is newer and in good condintion. My question is how should I set up the audio options in my new head unit without burning my audio components.
