Kenwood kdc-448u vs Sony CDX-GT740UI

Which would you go with? Sony is a little cheaper and has a better looking display and can change colors (doesnt really matter but it's kinda cool) and has 4v preouts (2v on the kenwood) but i've always had good luck with kenwood decks. Thanks in advance guys!

I would go with the Kenwood, I had a 438 and it worked great... never seen the sony though so I don't now how it perfoms.

They are pretty equal, have you used either one to see which interface you like better? I'd get the Sony imo... nicer looking unit, will last forever.

Personally, i would go with the kenwood. i've used a couple of kenwoods and had no problems, i think they are very easy to use as well. Had a sony once and i hated it. something would always be wrong with it.

Haven't tried anything new from them so who knows, might be alot better now.

These would be my two immediate choices. I suppose Im becoming Alpine bias though. I just think they sound better without having to eq and stuff. but the x794 is a great deck, has time alignment and 5 band eq, 4volt preouts, usb/ipod control, all kinds of settings, easy to browse. Top notch deck for the price.

Love it gets the job done Although I may be selling it because im trying to get a flip out dvd never had a sony H-U but i never had a problem with any of my kenwoods
