kenwood excelon subs any good

I'm looking for good budget subs to put into my ladies 2013 Toyota Highlander. Anyone used or have any experience with Kenwood subs? The reviews online look good, but I personally never have heard them. I was thinking of getting 2 of them to put in the back. I just want a nice set up, nothing earth shaking. What do ya'll think of them?

those are not the exceleons, but i've ran both 3013ps and exceleon xw12s, both are the best budget subs i've came across for the money, i bought a set a 3013ps for 89.99 new on ebay and tried to order another set and they sent me the xw12s, the xw12s are better than the 3013ps, but both are awesome budget subs... the video in my sig is of the 4 kenwood subs in sealed boxes... i would recommend these subs for budget subs all day!!!!!!

they will run ported but it you try to slam on them ported they will bottom out quick... and don't go to much over 400w a sub... i've had the two 3013ps on a punch 500a2, and a prime r500 both sounded awesome for such a cheap system...

just looked wow the prices went up, but buy them single, save 20 bucks.... new

I had two xw-10s in a ported box in a Ford Focus. Sounded good til I blasted the volume and they sounded sloppy as ****.

Never tried them in a sealed box but Im sure they would've sounded amazing

If you want a nice sounding entry level system though, I'd go with two American Bass XO's
