Kenwood Excelon stuck wide open

So not sure what's going on here but something tells me my headunit is done. I have a dnx9990 and was just driving along with my system at a medium level when out of nowhere the volume just kept going up. I would push the down button and it just kept going up till I thought for sure I was going to lose everything. I quickly turned my subs off but my mids and highs were screaming. Finally got it shut down. Did a reset on the unit and as soon as I turned it on it went all the way up again. So I have no idea what's going on but it's sure not usable like this. I paid around $1100 for this unit back in 2012.Anyone have any ideas ?

Might be able to go to a good computer repair shop for a local repair..they will test it out properly also/ or generally will
