i'd grab two of the regular excellon 12's, and call it a day.

those subs are quite pricey.

and if SQ biased SQL is your goal, the 2 excellons should do fine.

Not gonna be me, tho.....

I took a chance with my xxv-04s components, giving high end kenwood speakers a shot, even tho everyone doubts them...

and i got burnnned....

they're airy, i'll give them that, and the tweeters are flawless.... but the woofers have NO output, a dedicated midbass is almost necessary, so they're going on ebay as soon as i get my paypal balance out of the red.

it's up to you, but with kenwood, i'd stick with their head units, cd changers, etc.

their drivers leave a lot to be desired, honestly. and this is coming from a HUGE fan of their head units.
