I goofed on the thread title. I was copying and pasting from another forum and it grabbed the alt-image text //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Here's a nice rundown on the features too:
http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?i=113KDCX590&tp=5684&tab=detailed_info
Note that it does have a 24-bit Burr-Brown DAC and that it does have crossover settings for the front, rear, and sub outputs.
Cosmetic 9.5/10 no scratches no dents no discoloration, no nothing. The trim ring fits loosely, but it was like that when I got it.
Functional 10/10
Here are some FAQs about this KDC-X591:
Q: What do I get if I buy this headunit from you?
A: You get everything I got when I bought it two years ago. The box, remote, media manager software, drawstring carrying case, manual, etc.
Q: What's wrong with it?
A: Nothing. I bought a new headunit with TA and some other things because I want to do an active 3-way front.
Q: Why'd you buy it to begin with?
A: This will play MP3s and unprotected WMAs and M4Ps from any USB mass storage device. This includes most flash drives, external hard drives, iPods and portable MP3 players (it will not play in iPod mode through the USB cable, but it can read the files).
Q: A lot of headunits do that. What's so great about this one?
A: The media manager software that comes with it. It allows you to create playlists on any storage device and will also create voice prompts to help with searching through files/folders/artists/albums/playlists so you don't have to look down at the screen. When you've got 4000+ files in 150+ folders on a drive, it gets a little tedious searching without the voice prompts.
Q: So you get the functionality of an MP3 player without having to actually BUY an MP3 player, right?
A: Right. All you have to buy is the storage (flash drive or hard drive) and the software does the rest.
Q: What's that black thing on the right in the second picture?
A: Oh you wouldn't be interested in that.
Q: I might be. What is it?
A: It's a 12VDC to 5VDC converter with a USB header on the output side.
Q: You're right, I'm not interested.
A: You didn't ask what it was for.
Q: What's it for?
A: Most USB hard drives require more 5V power than one USB port can provide. Flash drives will work fine with just the power from the headunit, but I wanted 40GB of MP3s in the car with me all the time, so I built that thing so I could power my 2.5" USB hard drive. It was my first electronics project.
Q: Wow. You know you can buy cigarette lighter adapters with 5V USB power on them, right?
A: Yeah, but they weren't around back when I built that thing.
Q: Is it included?
A: Yes. With the understanding that there is no warranty stated or implied with the use of this converter. It has a fuse, and it worked for me for two years, but if your car catches fire when you plug it in, then don't blame me.
Q: Is your 40GB hard drive included?
A: No.
Q: I have other questions...
A: If you don't find the answer in the manual, then ask away. I know this headunit like the back of my hand.
Q: How much do you want for all this?
A: $110 + actual UPS ground shipping. I prefer the PayPal.
