I don't know what the dude is saying about the colors. When mine (x993) is off it's BLACK (cause it's, you know, off!) and when it's on, it's green (cause I made it that way), the same color as all my other indicator lights.
I could make it blue, or red, or purple, or teal, or whatever...you get my point. But there is no purple color problem.
