I just put a new battery into my car and now i can't get my screen to work. It keeps asking for me to put in the security codes, but since i didn't buy the screen it came with the car i bought i do not know the 4-digit code. I also tried to ask the guy that i bought the car from and he doesnt' know either. So is there any other way for me to bypass this and get it working agian??? thanks for the help guys

Call Kenwood and tell them the situation. Then, see if you can get a copy of the receipt from the person who purchased the unit. One of the things I do is set my head unit to something obscure with the security like that. There has been a time when I installed a new Kenwood unit and it asked for the security code right away. When I called them, they sent a new unit next day service.
