Kenwood DPX302u clock problem will not keep time

We just installed this head unit along with a Sirius receiver that the head unit is controlling. The unit is wired correctly, remembers all of the settings when powered off etc. But it will not keep the current time. Example, I got in and the clock said 540pm but it was actually 605 pm, we set the clock and it worked for a few minutes and the reverted back to like 543pm. Any ideas? Can't seem to figure this out, am wondering if the Sirius receiver has something to do with it. Appreciate any ideas, and again all presets work so it is not losing memory.

figured it out - was an option called time sync... turned it off and all is well.
