kenwood ddx4017dab satnav gvn60 ?

hi i have got a kenwood ddx4017dab headset in my 2004 toyota avensis, i really need to use the sat nav on the unit, been told i need something called a gvn60 ?, can anyone tell me if it is a certain gvn60 or does it have to be specifically for a toyota avensis, a friend has got a garmin gvn60 from a vw polo will this be ok and do i have to purchase any other bits leads etc
