Kenwood DDX371 Bluetooth sync issue

Hey there folks. I installed a Kenwood DDX371 a few months ago in my 2012 Scion xB and I am running into an issue where if I play any video content on any phone or tablet, the bluetooth connected audio is out of sync with the video on the device. The video seems to lag about a second behind the audio. Is this a common issue, or is there a setting I'm missing? I'd appreciate any assistance with this. Thank you!
