Kenwood 911DVD Sirius install

Hey we are doing an install of a sirius radio module to a Kenwood 911DVD. We have hooked it up but in is nowhere to be found in any of the menus. So here are my questions. Is this cd/dvd player sirius ready? We hooked it up to the "brains" of the headunit, is that the right place? Don't we need to register it with sirius before we can use it??

u shouldl get channel 184 which is the preview channel. and it should say if it is sirius ready on it if it is new than it probly does. if u ran it with the supplied cable u have to hook up one of ur extra power wires to it so it sends power to the tuner. i had that problem and i just hooked up the extra yellow wire which runs power to my cenet
