Hey Another thing to use is some PA horns. and a passive X-OVER. I built an all in 1 box basicly what your doing instead I used wood. Cd player, amp, speakers, x-over,sub came out great! if you haven't gotten a battery use one from autozone. Its a marine dual purpose battery. Its the biggest blue top battery they carry from duralast. with out a core to drop off its only about 98 dollars after taxes. I used one of these batteries to run 2 JL 1000/1 amps im my garage to test 2 w7 13.5's for about 45 mins at a hefty tilt. put the volt meter on b4 I started and batts sat at 12.89 after 45 min of beating the hell out of the W7's the voltage on that battery only dropped to 12.37 so.... Its a strong battery and give a good power supply at a high amperage per hour. also I have a 120 to 12 volt power converter. I used it to run a 2 ch amp and cd player in my garage. worked great . its a 4 ch so u could run ur cd player an amp. and 2 other things if you felt like it. maybe a cigerette charger or something... charge the phone ect.... but hit me up I also have those batteries i'm using 2 of em with 2 30 farad caps to run my set up and they hold power fine!!! as for the signal issue. I would go to Advance auto parts and buy a replacement antenna u just drill a hole in the top of the keg and drop this thru the bottom and it is a rubber foot long antenna. plugs directly into the cd player and there ya go.!!! i have a few pics of the other thing i built just pm me I'll send em ur way. also have a sawzaw and a few tools like a bench grinder that may help if u need some help lemme know !!!
