Haha Yeah, it quiets everything at volume 23. Kinda odd...but if you hit the reset button underneath the faceplate it won't do it until you turn your headunit off and on back again.....This deck makes my sub sound like a disgrace.....compared to my sony HU.....the sound of the sub is just totally different and at High volumes just has this shitty sound to it, almost like its distorting....This deck is nothing but bad news. I want to get rid of it

I'm not familiar with that deck, but since you switched, it may have higher voltage preamps, which means you'll have to turn the gains down I believe. Readjust your system from the ground up is my advice.

What is the Bass Center frequency set for on the HU?

I like it on Mode 1 the best. I have most problems covered, besides the volume 23 thing which is im assuming Another alpine flaw. I want to get rid of this deck and Buy a exceleon 990..
